NEW online course edition about land stewardship

The 3rd edition of the online course about Land Stewardship will be starting on 28th November 2016, and you can register until 22nd November.


The course is addressed to students and graduates on different areas of knowledge; volunteers and professionals in areas relates to landscape and nature management; staff and volunteers from nature conservation NGO’s; personal from conservation public agencies, social entrepreneurs in rural areas and people interested on land stewardship and the conservation of nature and biodiversity.

The course is structured in 4 modules and it is self-assessed, this meaning there are no teachers and no practical work, so each student can take the course freely at their own pace (being a self-assessed course). When the student completes the reading of a module, he / she can immediately respond to the module's self-evaluative test and, in case of overcoming it, you can start reading the next module. In this way, the end date of the course is marked by the rhythm of the student, being able to finish the course within a few weeks of its beginning (or at most on February 17th, 2017).

Course goals:

- Train all those interested in developing Of the territory, whether in existing organizations or in new ones. creation.

- To present the concept of land stewardship as a strategy and set of tools to conserve and manage nature and landscape based in the involvement of civil society, landowners and other actors social.

- Introduce the main tools and methodologies that organizations and professionals involved in land stewardship use.

- To make known, through examples, various data and publications and the situation of land stewardship in Spain.
