The European Land Stewardship Week offered more than 420 events for people to participate in the European Land Stewardship Week. Citizens around Europe were encouraged to experience nature (22 countries). The Connect with Nature campaign encouraged citizens to experience, enjoy and connect with nature, during the European Land Stewardship Week and the days leading up to it. Many participants joined enthusiastically the 'Connect with Nature' photo competition, of which the best photos will be selected to be part of a travelling exhibition. 250 photos were received, reflecting all types of land stewardship experiences participants had during the week.

In conclusion: the first European Land Stewardship Week was a great success!
