Marc Vilahur presented “LIFE and Land Stewardship – Lessons learned” last 13th of October during the Bosland 10th anniversary Conference.
Marc Vilahur, president of the Xarxa de Custòdia del Territori, presented last 13th of October “LIFE and Land Stewardship – Lessons learned” during the Bosland 10th anniversary Conference: Passion for Nature: Integrated governance – Mainstreaming Opportunities for Nature & Society . The aim of his conference was to address the strategy of Land Stewardship, its challenges and successes during the LandLife Project (LIFE INF/ES/000540), and the relations between different actors.
During the Conference we had the opportunity to discuss values and integrated governance approaches, not only important for nature, but also for other dimensions (human health, economic development, job creation, climate, etc). The concept of land stewardship has generated great interest to representatives of European institutions and also owners and non-profit organizations, valuing positively the opportunity to create positive synergies in the region.
We are very glad to have participated on this Conference!
